Furball and MAD.BEAR Bring Their Party to San Antonio

Furball will make its San Antonio debut on Saturday, November 7, bringing the traveling bear party to Heat Nightclub for a one-night collaboration with MAD.BEAR.

The party runs from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. at 1500 North Main Avenue. Furball’s official artwork describes an underwear-and-gear night with a clothes check, so guests can arrive dressed for the street and change inside. The event listing names DJs Ruedy and Liza Rodriguez and promises live entertainment.

A first San Antonio stop

Furball has built its calendar around bear weekends, Pride programs, leather events, and recurring club nights in cities across the United States and Europe. Its current schedule places San Antonio between a Palm Springs Pride party on November 6 and upcoming dates in Chicago on November 13 and Austin on November 21.

Saturday’s event is billed as a debut rather than another date in an established local series. Heat Nightclub is located on the Main Avenue strip north of downtown, near several other LGBTQ+ bars and clubs. The 21-and-over venue lists multiple dance floors and a patio, but the Furball program is a separate ticketed event with its own hours and clothes check.

The MAD.BEAR connection

The San Antonio collaboration also connects Furball with Madrid’s long-running bear festival. MAD.BEAR’s current 2026 program runs December 3 through 9 across bars, clubs, and saunas in Madrid. Furball appears on that schedule with a December 7 party at Ya’sta Club.

That exchange works in both directions here: MAD.BEAR joins Furball for the Texas debut, then Furball joins MAD.BEAR’s week in Madrid a month later.

Tickets and details

Tickets for the San Antonio party are linked through Furball’s official ticket page. The organizer’s live schedule should be checked before heading out because event details and ticket availability can change.
